Cupid (Love Gods, #2)

Book Cover: Cupid (Love Gods, #2)
Part of the Love Gods series:

Coming February 1, 2024!

Cupid is the Roman god of love and desire. Unlike his Greek counterpart, Cupid only shoots his magical arrows for true love. Their differences don't end there. In contrast to Eros, who hooked up with any guy he could before being reunited with his beloved Psyche, Cupid is waiting for his happily-ever-after, not a happy-for-right-now. Despite the challenges of remaining a virgin for more years that he’s willing to admit, he refuses to take that final step until he meets his one and only. Finding that forever love, however, is a challenge. Cupid could easily find a man for sex, but the one he secretly desires most is forbidden.

Peitho is the Greek god of seduction and persuasion. Bringing others together is a piece of cake. Helping himself get the man he loves is a different matter altogether. Not only is Cupid Roman, but swatting him like a flying insect during their first meeting didn't exactly win Peit any favors. In Peit's defense, he had no clue it was Cupid at the time, and Cupid is quite small in his true form. Nevertheless, the human version of the hot god made it clear he was not interested, not to mention that Cupid's all about following rules. Hooking up with Peit would be breaking the biggest one of all.

Everything changes when Eros asks Cupid to take on one of his assignments, which he rightfully declines. Despite knowing it could cause major problems, Eros can't be swayed. When Peit is enlisted to help change Cupid's mind, Cupid's well-ordered world is suddenly thrown into chaos. It's one thing to be tempted by the gorgeous Greek god. To fall in love with him could be disastrous.

Cupid is book two of the Love Gods series. Although Cupid could possibly be read as a standalone, it's best to read Eros first to understand the backstories and secondary characters who are key to Cupid's story.

Book Cover: Eros (Love Gods, #1)
Part of the Love Gods series:

Eros is the god of love and lust. His only job on Earth is to bring couples together and shoot them with his magical arrows. If he occasionally hooks up with the guys first, what of it? After four assignments that he nearly blows because he's quicker to shoot his load than his arrows, Aphrodite gives him a final chance to prove himself. That is, until he hooks up with the guy he's supposed to shoot for his do-or-die assignment. In the eons he's spent on Earth, he's never felt this way before. Christopher (College Encounters, #1)

Book Cover: Christopher (College Encounters, #1)
Part of the College Encounters series:
  • Christopher (College Encounters, #1)

Christopher just wants to get laid. Nothing more. Nothing less. He doesn't want romance - just sex.

While seeking out gay porn on the internet he stumbles across details about an exclusive sex club in his town. Convinced this is what he's looking for, he works up the courage to go to the club a few days later. He almost turns back the way he came when he sees an intimidating bouncer standing outside the door. He's one step from leaving when he's ushered inside. Two members have seen Christopher on the security cameras and are eager to play with him - with conditions. He must wear a blindfold and vow that once the night is over he won't show up at the club again. Nervously, he agrees.

Even blindfolded it doesn't take long for him to recognize the voice of one of the men as someone he knows well. More turned on than he's ever been in his life, he allows the man and his partner to do anything and everything to his body without complaint. When it's over he's guided out of the club and the blindfold is removed. Flying high, he knows he'll have to hook up with those guys again, especially now that he's certain that the one who took his virginity is his favorite professor. Will he embarrass himself when he's forced to face him in class the following Monday? And does he dare risk going back to the club the following weekend, his promise be damned?

Christopher, College Encounters, #1, is gay erotica and has a virgin, an age gap, mild BDSM, rough sexual situations, and group sex. Note that the BDSM in this story doesn't follow strict protocols of the lifestyle. Keep that in mind before downloading this book.

It needs to be noted strongly that this is NOT romance, though Christopher meets a love interest toward the end. It's nothing but pure erotica. If you want romance, this book will not be for you.

"I really enjoyed the sexy escapism that Christopher gave me. I liked all the players and the eroticism. I’m not always so good with MCs around eighteen but when there’s an age difference, which there is here, I’m happy to roll with it. When it’s predominantly erotica, and well written, I’m pervy enough to be up for it. I liked that the author had a pragmatic approach, as well as the total fantasy – when you first experiment with sex it’s not always perfect but it can be mighty passionate… Oh yeah! Overall, I had a really good time reading this naughty novella."

Santa Claus & His Unexpected Mate (#7)

From the World of Willy the Kinky Elf & His Bad-Ass Reindeer.

The North Pole isn’t exactly as it appears in fairy tales. It has the elves and Santa and his reindeer, but Santa and Mrs. Claus aren’t the jolly couple the world believes them to be. The reindeer are all shape-shifters who transform into gorgeous beings in human form and are respected by all.

Santa Claus has everything except the one thing he craves most - a mate of his own. Forever told it wasn't in the cards for him, he goes about his days longing for something he knows he can never have. Maybe Andrew Lanzer isn’t his fated mate, but he knows what he feels for the reindeer goes far beyond simple attraction.

Drew sees how Santa looks at him, but he's not stupid. Santa's wife may be gone now, but history has proven she’ll be back. Time and again. He's hoping one sexual encounter will be enough to get him out of his system. What he doesn’t expect is for it to open the door to so much more.

When Mary Claus demands to be heard, the entire North Pole is thrown into chaos. With the man he loves and his newfound son by his side, Santa must fight harder than he's ever fought before to rid the North Pole of her conniving presence once and for all. Along the way, he may even discover that what the Fates have always led him to believe might not be true after all. With help from Willy the elf and a few new allies, Santa Claus may finally get the happily-ever-after he's only ever dreamed of.

Santa Claus & His Unexpected Mate cannot be read as a standalone. The finale of the Willy the Kinky Elf & His Bad-Ass Reindeer series, it contains characters and stories from each book that will be confusing to readers who have not read the series.

η αγάπη μου για πάντα

I’m going to start by saying that I’m not really much of a seasonal book reader but for 7 Christmases I’ve enjoyed this wacky, goofy, crazy series with the weirdest titles, this year’s is tame in comparison. I’m sad to see it end on one hand, on another I also don’t “do” series for long so I’m also glad the author didn’t drag it on. “Santa” was a fitting finale, and what growth the actual Santa had along the way. It also has a fitting HEA to wrap up the entire series.

I don’t recommend this for anyone other than those who have read the series. You really do need to have read the previous series books. Everyone from prior books make an appearance and you just won’t know who this cast of characters are or where they fit if you start here.

Candi Kay has placed letters to Santa in between some chapters and they are cute and funny to read. I thought this was such a nice touch. The titles to the stories in The Gazette are funny too.

Willy is off the chain in his exuberance to rid the North Pole of Mary Claus with the elegantly named Operation Rid-A-Ho. He’s also up to his matchmaking ways… with not so much success this year. But most of all, Santa has done what the Fates said would never happen, he’s found a true mate.

Bye, Willy and Co. May you all live long and enjoy your days of love and eternal Christmas in the beautiful – and gossipy – North Pole. Wait for me (you have great quarantine in place) I’m packing my bags to come and meet you all post COVID.

I'm not ready to say goodbye!

From the minute I stumbled upon Willy the Kinky Elf five years ago, I've been enamored by these characters. With each book, I fell more and more in love with Ms. Kay's version of the North Pole.

I love that for all the humor and silliness, there's also a tremendous amount of heart. These characters aren't one dimensional cartoons. They're flawed characters with real life problems.

One of the things I love most about this series is the integration of characters from one book to the next. Each couple becomes part of the next couple's story and the ones that follow.

If you'd have asked me at the beginning whether I thought Santa should have his own book, I would have said no. Even after Barry's book, I still would have said no. But Dylan's book changed my opinion of him. I started to see beyond the surface. Then Luke's book sealed it for me. And now, he's the Santa I wanted him to be. Although it was a little weird picturing Santa kissing (and doing other things). I know, I know, he doesn't really look like the Santa we all know.

I really loved that we got to see a more vulnerable side of Santa and at times I wanted to give him a great big hug. I loved seeing him with Drew but even more than that I loved how everyone came together for him and how he was accepted as part of the gang.

The return of Mary Claus gave me pause. I hated that she was coming back and was dreading the chaos she was going to create. But I needn't have worried. Santa wasn't about to take any more of her crap but Willy really outdid himself with Operation Rid-A-Ho. Damn, do I love that elf!

I've been waiting all series to see Mary get what was coming to her and I've got to say, it was worth the wait!!

Saying goodbye to this series is bittersweet but my heart is really happy. This series and these characters will stay with me for a long, long time.

Luke the Hybrid Reindeer & His Vivacious Mate – Doc & Andrea (#6.25)

This is a male/female erotica story with on-page sex scenes between Doc and Andrea. If you don’t like M/F mixed in with your M/M, I suggest taking a pass on this little short. I’d left their coming together so vague in ‘Luke’. I wanted to give them a little page time. It’s told in Doc’s POV.

Luke the Hybrid Reindeer & His Vivacious Elf (#6)

From the World of Willy the Kinky Elf & His Bad-Ass Reindeer.

The North Pole isn't exactly as it appears in fairy tales. It has the elves and Santa and his reindeer, but Santa and Mrs. Claus aren't the jolly couple the world believes them to be. The reindeer are all shape-shifters who transform into gorgeous beings in human form and are respected by all.

Luke has always known he was different. He's never fit in with the reindeer or the elves. When long-buried secrets come to light, he has no choice but to run. Forced to hide or risk his brother being caught in the crossfire, he does what he has to do to survive. He stays hidden well until the one moment he makes the mistake of letting his guard down.

Micah Matthews is one of the most loved nurses in the North Pole. He's funny, cute, and good at his job. When the big man himself requests Micah as a private nurse for a special patient, he agrees without hesitation. What he doesn't expect is to find his mate in the process. Micah knows it would be all kinds of wrong to stay as Luke's nurse once he discovers the truth, but is walking away even an option? What if the attacker somehow manages to find him and finish what he started?

Between a matchmaking elf and Santa Claus actually being nice, Luke is convinced he's been dropped into the Twilight Zone. Throw in some Peppermint Whiskey, a super-hot nurse, and a younger brother who may or may not have the hots for Santa, and Luke knows his life will never be the same again.

Best one yet. We get Luke's story in this one after meeting him in the previous book. He really went through so much at the hands of his family. We get the mystery while the North Pole security team and Santa try to figure out who attacked Luke and why. We get to see more of the depths of the damage that the evil HO HO has done. Micah and his family were so sweet. Of course we get more of the mom's and Willy in this one to bring in the humor and reinforcement when needed. Looking forward to Santa's story now that he's turning into a nicer guy without the evil HO HO.

A fun series. This one had more serious moments, yet interwoven with Willy’s crazy humor and the group of moms made this book. Lucas, an ex-rent boy meets his mate, Micha. The hidden secret of Lucas comes out. He finds love and a new family. And just when you think a great happy ending, then Bam! Drama, drama, twisty turns, leaves you wanting the next book!!

Dylan the Bad Boy Reindeer & His Virtuous Mate (#5)

From the world of Willy the Kinky Elf & His Bad-Ass Reindeer.

The North Pole isn't exactly as it appears in fairy tales. It has the elves and Santa and his reindeer, but Santa and Mrs. Claus aren't the jolly couple the world believes them to be. Far from it, actually. The reindeer are all shape-shifters who transform into gorgeous beings in human form and are respected by all.

Reindeer Dylan is the ultimate bad boy - wearing leather, riding a motorcycle, having sex anytime he wants. Forced to run away as a teen, he’s had to fight for survival. Now twenty-five, Dylan lives in Mistletoe Hill, the one place in the North Pole that's not eggnog and sugar cookies.

When Santa's wife promises to share information about Dylan's long-missing mother, he reluctantly escorts her to the annual Christmas party to make Santa jealous. What he doesn't expect is to see a reindeer who'll have him wanting something he's never wanted before. Scared of what he's feeling, he leaves, not even knowing the reindeer's name.

Cole Crawford is one of the North Pole's most respected citizens. Not one for random hookups, when he locks eyes with Mrs. Claus' date at the party, he's convinced he's found his mate. But then the reindeer bolts, leaving Cole wondering if he'll ever see him again.

When Mrs. Claus breaks her promise, Dylan contacts the Chief Reindeer and his elf for help locating his mother. Unfortunately, there are powerful people who'll stop at nothing to ensure that certain secrets stay buried. Elf Willy just wants to play matchmaker and drink his Peppermint Whiskey. After witnessing the look between Dylan and Cole last Christmas, he makes it his elfly duty to bring them together.

4.5 Stars

I don't know what it is about this series that keeps me smiling every time but I do really enjoy it. This one has a little bit deeper of a character arc as we learn more about the secrets Santa and Mrs. Claus are keeping. Of course Mrs. Claus is as evil as ever, though maybe there's a little bit more to Santa than we've seen in the past. Dylan's always been on the outskirts of the good people in the North Pole. Raised by a horrible man and having grown up in Mistletoe Hill, the one place in the North Pole even Santa won't got, Dylan's carved out a place for himself there. He's got his bar, and it may be the only safe space in Mistletoe Hill for people to have a drink without fear. But no matter how hard he tries he can't forget the sight of one particular reindeer last Christmas.

I enjoyed watching Willy's machinations to get Cole and Dylan back into each other's company. Of course as soon as that happens, well mate bonds are strong things. There's a lot Dylan doesn't know about his history and he's always wondered what truly happened to his mother, the one person in his life he ever thought cared about him. It was great to see Dylan restoring bonds with old friends and getting to have a real life for once. He and Cole were very sweet together.

Author Kelsy Kasey on Goodreads wrote:

I'll cut to the chase. I love a bad boy. Dylan is a bad boy. He's hot, he drives a Harley, and he only cares about how many bucks he can fuck in one night. Then he meets Cole and only has eyes (and I'll just say it..... his cock) for his new mate. Or should I say that elf Willy forces him to meet Cole. I like Cole but he's such a good guy. Not a bad thing but this girl loves her a bad boy.

Then there's the rest of the NP gang. What I really love about this series is how the author weaves past characters into each new book. Willy the elf. Need I say more? He's crazy. Crazy as all fuck but I love him. There's a scene in the jewelry store with Willy that I read during a meeting. I still have a job after giggling out loud so that's something I suppose.

Seriously. Don't read that scene unless you're in a place where you can laugh out loud. I can't even type this without laughing. That elf is nuts. I work in sales. I want to hire the little fucker. I'd be set and never have to do another day of work.

Mrs Claus takes evil to a new level in this book. I don't know how she can come back from what was revealed here. It was nice to see Santa finally grow a pair with her. I'm curious to see what happens with him in upcoming books. I don't care about her. I used to love to hate her. Now I just hate her.

Dylan has to find out what happened to his mother before he can give his all to his new mate. All our fave players from past books are right there to help him, including Blake Simpson who Dylan knew from his using days and hated.

I admit to being surprised over how things came together. Not at all what I was expecting.

I'm still having fun with this series when i'm normally bored to tears by book three of a series. I want more. And Willy? I wanna see his butt too. Honey, there ain't nothin' wrong with wanting to look at nice things. 🙂

Barry the Lonely Reindeer & His Bashful Elf (#4)

From the world of Willy the Kinky Elf & His Bad-Ass Reindeer.

The North Pole isn't exactly as it appears in fairy tales. It has the elves and Santa and his reindeer, but Santa and Mrs. Claus aren't the jolly couple the world believes them to be. Far from it, actually. The reindeer are all shape-shifters who transform into gorgeous beings in human form and are respected by all.

Reindeer Barry Simpson leads a simple life. He works, comes home, then does it all again the next day. Once upon a time, he was outgoing and social. That changed after he became involved with an abusive reindeer. It's been a year since Barry ran and he's finally getting over his fears, eager to start living again.

Ricky is a shy elf who blushes at every turn. One accidental touch and Barry's convinced he's finally met his mate. He's never been with an elf before but he knows in his heart that this is the man he's been waiting for.

Between meddling parents, an overprotective brother, and even a sad Santa Claus, Barry and his elf are pulled in several directions. When his abusive ex-boyfriend starts getting violent, Barry has to fight to protect not only himself but also those he loves, including his newfound mate.

Reviews:Angela W. on Goodreads wrote:

This was book 4 in the "Willy the Kinky Elf & His Bad-Ass Reindeer" series. Barry who is Blake's little brother he is lonely when Willy and Seth come into the shop that he is working in he meets a young shy elf Ricky who happens to be his mate. Both of them were in abusive relationships. Blake was physically and mentally abused for a year by and older rich guy Ashton. Ricky was abused more sexually by a friend of his fathers. Abuse is never okay and I felt bad for what each of these characters went through. Turns out Ashton wants Barry back and he is willing to do anything to get what he wants. At first Ricky thinks that Barry only wants him for sex and after they have it he leaves. It was funny when Aston tries to kidnap Barry and Willy stops his plans this was a good read. The guys do everything thing to keep him safe. When the parents Ricky's mother doesn't like him because he is a reindeer. I loved that Barry stood up to his ex. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
